Now I’m confused, why didn’t the democrats release the files when they where in charge?

Now, while it still may be a double-edged sword, it's seen as more damaging to the right side.
There's no way the list is only right-wingers. Possibly, throwing the book at one person would mean they squeal on everyone. Maxwell might've considered it but after Epsteins death she probably preferred to stay alive.
More performative bullshit coming from Democrats, always doing stuff like this when they know there is zero chance of it passing to give the illusion they are trying, if it weren't for those pesky Republicans. I'm certain there's just as many Democrats on those lists as there are Republicans and not just the low hanging fruit
