Why Does Linux Have So Much Drama?!

  • Because people have conversations and then clickbait youtubers overexaggerate it.

  • It really doesn't. I highly doubt there isn't office politics going on inside Microsoft, Apple and Google, but unlike them, Linux development is all public. If anything, that's likely to curtail a lot of bad behavior rather than encourage it.

  • It doesn't really, not compared to what goes on in the office. What little there is, is in public and often exaggerated by commentators.

  • Because there is choice. There is very little choice on Windows or Mac, so there's not really anything to argue about 😅 Champagne problems, if ya ask me.

  • There is drama in everything. I don't think GNU/Linux is any different. I don't really care about what distro other people use tbh, I can joke about it but never seriously argue for which distro, text editor, programming language, etc. is the best. I just like that I can choose and get just what I want.
