The Mizeria (Polish cucumber salad) my wife made for the picnic we're going to today.

  Totally plan on it - my partner loves dill so we have a bunch of fresh dill and other herbs/spices growing, it's gonna be delicious!

Fun Polish fact: The name Mizeria translated literarly to english means misery.
- Hmmm...maybe at some point in history they had nothing but cucumbers to eat and they were sick of trying to find new ways to eat them? In any case, it was a hit at the picnic. Brought home an empty container!

It's also great with some red or white onion. I love cucumberssss

  Just now I remembered that I made this with pickled red onion and it was fire. Strange taste at first but totally worth it

  I know, right? What a pretentious piece of shit. I doubt they've ever even tasted cucumber salad their life, yet they're going to sit there and talk shit. It's a traditional Polish recipe that's very refreshing in the summer heat.
