The first trailer focused almost entirely on Superman's face, and this trailer introduces like 3 villains and 3 extended universe heroes. My conclusion: the first one didn't focus-group well and since they have no overarching plan, they will redesign their whole universe around whatever the next focus group says.

On the one hand it's James Gunn, who makes movies that are normally entertaining enough to be worth two hours of my time.
On the other, it's Superman, and people have some very pre-conceived ideas about what a Superman movie should be like. And this ain't that.
So we'll see...
