Same with gay representation. Suddenly, when it comes to China, gay rep in media becomes "not so important", and start to talk about how in every other way the Chinese are LGBTQ+ friendly without backing it with any evidence.
- And then, after all else fails, saying that criticizing China's persecution of LGBT communities is "Pinkwashing" for the "Imperial Core".
