How can we make this issue a smile! We can help them do this.

They are checking out of society and don't want to do this. They see a crappy house in Moorooka asking price 900K and they won't buy when they can have huge mansion in another country for 200K. What can we do to stop the flows?

  • That post feels really gross. Why the fuck would you frame it as though the goal should be to get more people “on the treadmill” and “pay their dues”.

Becuase when you have to pay 800 k for a house, it is a treadmill life of WORK. WORK is hard and treadmill work is a good way to keep them all controlled. It's designed like this. Paying their dues is doing what they're parents did. They're parents paid 80K for a house now work 800K. Let them think the prices double every 7 years and that they can do their dues and do the same as their parents?

Our goal should be to fix the problems in our society. Make it so that housing is seen as a necessity and a right, not an investment first and foremost.

Yes, but it's Brisbane. If you don't have 4 mortgage and think property doubles every 7 years, it's weird at barbecues. People think that housing is their ATM, not a right. I agree with you.

    • Sorry, perhaps I've misinterpreted you. When you wrote:

How can we make Brisbane more attractive to keep them all here on the treadmill and make sure they sign up for a house?

It sounded like you thought that was a goal.
