They didn't learn and now they pay the consequences.
True to life.
Ho boy, I remember this one from almost 9 years ago and it's getting funnier every time. Well, not really funny, but actually yes, very funny.
Don't feel sorry for these idiots. They will probably vote for the next GOP puppet because their religion said so or for some single button issue like abortion.
There is nothing in the bible against abortion. There are instructions for forcing a woman to have an abortion when her husband suspects she has been cheating. (Numbers 5: 11-31) and many places throughout the bible command the killing of "their little ones" by dashing them against the rocks and ripping open the bellies of pregnant women in enemy towns. Kidnapping the young girls who are virgins to be used as sex slaves. The bible has some sick twisted snuff porn in it, but it doesn't take issue with abortion.
Does the NT ever mention it?
It is terrible if anyone is jailed without due process - even if they voted for this asshat of an administration.
I feel especially bad because that man was legally here and didn't even have a vote in this election :( like you said, even if he wasn't legally here, due process should be afforded to every soul.
I agree. This administration is pure nazi level evil. One cannot deny that these people voted in the leopards and then put seasoning on their own faces.
It's pure stupidity. They have a green card holder in the family and they vote for Trump?
That number fluctuates, and is often just "millions". They are preparing the final solution, I doubt it will stop at any given number though.
Trump said he doesn't want due process because then we'd have 5 million trials. Sure sounds an awful lot like a "final solution" is coming soon, and 5 million people is his goal number.
Yeah I have 0 sympathy for these monsters who essentially voted for this. Definitely feel bad for the son, he doesn't deserve this.
All of these stupid articles highlight Trump voters so that liberals will jerk off about leopards rather than get angry that completely innocent people are being harmed.
I wonder how many of the people gloating in this thread have parents who voted for Trump.
Better question is "would the son have voted for Trump?". Then laugh at him if he would have, but not until then.
As it stands, the better take is not to laugh at him, but to laugh and fully enjoy the parents' pain about the situation. Savor it.
My parents did not for him, and I will probably smear it in their face immediately if it ever directly affects them. But we're white, fully naturalized people who live in a red area, so it will probably take a while. I only voted red once, right after becoming old enough and before I started to break free if the super tight bubble they kept me in.
But they never had a clue until this election, and they were shocked.
They usually like to nitpick with me now over bits of news that they think sounds good for them or bad for me. Now after these 100 days, they haven't said a peep.
I don't bring it up much because for the time being I have to depend on them due to medical issues. But I should be ready to get back out within 2 years and I will not be quiet then.
“But he didn’t say he was going to do this, that he was going to go after people who have been here for a long time,” Rey said. “He said he was going to go after all the criminals who came illegally.
Gotchu.
Brian Todd, a spokesperson of CoreCivic, the private prison company that operates Stewart, disputed those accounts of conditions inside the facility.
God, the United States were a mistake.
Any person with an immigrant background should have had their alarm bells going off big time when MAGA used the words "illegal immigrants" as if they were glued together.
Sheesh. But you know what, my parents are the same. Came to their new home country 5 decades ago, now they're complaining about "The Immigration Problem" (one with an air of intellectualism, the other like a true MAGA).
And don't get me started on private prisons and their PR people. We have footage going back years. It's not even a new thing, how bad the conditions are.
Sadly, from what I understand in the US at least, anti-immigrant sentiment is often common among immigrants themselves after some time has passed. To be clear - I'm sure there's a lot of nuance that I'm not privy to, please don't read that as some strict assertion.
But for instance, from what I understand about the Cuban diaspora in Florida, they are often viciously anti-immigrant.
Just us humans being humans unfortunately, we got a lotta work to do on ourselves, collectively.
Truly, how could anyone have known that the pathological liar that lies dozen of times in every speech he has ever made, would lie about that?
He crossed his heart etc etc
They voted for Trump, green card holder? Wish there was more context, more Republican election fraud plus face eating is delicious.
I'm guessing they all moved from Argentina, the parents went through the naturalization process while the son didn't (yet).
Still, you went through the immigration process, you know how many hurdles there already are in contrast to how the right likes to portray things, and you still vote for the anti immigration guy?
the gop had a masterful propaganda apparatus, via religious organizations and anti-communist sentiment. in places like florida, they convince them to vote a certain way, fox helps too.
Well, the article link isnt working but yeah, this doesn't make any sense. If the son is a green card holder than I would think the parents aren't citizens either? Maybe he's adopted?
Children adopted by US Citizen parents automatically become US citizen upon adoption papetwork is finalized and uppn arrival in the US.
Adopted Children also become automatic US Citizen if, while they are Lawful permanent Resident and under 18 years old, one of their adoptive parents become a US citizen.
So this doesn't make much sense unless of very rare circumstance of the parents bringing in a kid and then not naturalize until the kid is already 18.
They weep, for they have but one son to give to the great leader’s crusade
This is actually a really good one. Did you make it?
Good. This is the price you pay for being idiots and ruining everything for the rest of us. I do feel bad for the kid though.
womp womp
Schadenfreude is all we've got left now to enjoy.

The ongoing saga of conservative white South Americans suddenly discovering they are very much brown as far as ICE is concerned.
Good. Fuck 'em!
Get fucked. Sorry to say. People are gonna have to learn the hard way.
Dude... Americans will never learn
It sucks maga cult members love Dear Leader more than their son. Sucks even more that he has to pay for it...
How does the kid not have citizenship tho? Green card holders under 18 automatically have citizenship if a parent become a citizen. Did the trump voter parent naturalize after the kid turned 18?
There's a lot about this that doesn't make sense.
If their kid is a green card holder, then it can be reasonably assumed that the parents don't have citizenship either.
If they're all on green cards, how did they vote?
Green card holders under 18 automatically have citizenship if a parent become a citizen.
I'm pretty sure that's not true. There are two ways to get US citizenship: be born here or apply for it. It sounds like either they didnt apply for the son, or they did and it hasn't been granted yet.
Or maybe one parent is a citizen and "they" refers to that parent voting on behalf of the household.
I literally obtained derivative citizenship. I never even took an oath.

General Requirements for Automatic Acquisition of Citizenship after Birth
The Child Citizenship Act of 2000 (CCA) amended INA 320 and removed INA 321 to create only one statutory provision and method for children in the United States to automatically acquire citizenship after birth. According to INA 320, a child born outside of the United States automatically becomes a U.S. citizen when all of the following conditions have been met on or after February 27, 2001
- The person is a child of a parent who is a U.S. citizen by birth or through naturalization (including an adoptive parent);
- The child is under 18 years of age
- The child is a lawful permanent resident (LPR)
- The child is residing in the United States in the legal and physical custody of the U.S. citizen parent.
There is no specific order in which the conditions of the law must be satisfied for citizenship, so long as all conditions are met at a single point in time before the child’s 18th birthday.
Although this part is concerning:
A person born outside the United States is presumed to be an alien. As such, the person claiming U.S. citizenship has the burden of proof to establish by a preponderance of the evidence that they have met all requirements for citizenship.

There are some South Korean Adoptees who never became US citizen because the adoptive parents never applied, which is why this law was passed to make it automatic.
He's not targeting us, but only the "bad" imigrants. Reminds me of these guys.
Leopards ate their face! Right after saying they would, too!
Since when can greencard holders vote?
The son could be a green card holder and the parents can be citizens.
💡
lol!
LMAO 😂
Isn’t South Georgia a British Overseas Territory though?
