Seems reasonable to me. But that may just be positive association.
What cars will they be able to bring in that they can't now? Like k-cars? I feel like the average Canadian just wants a SUV/CUV like most Americans and these cars they're talking about won't sell anyways.
Personally I hope they drop the tariff on chinese-made ev's, I would trade in my phev escape in a heartbeat for an affordable full electric that has enough range for me to do a 600km round trip without adding 4 hours to my commute.
