I'm not big on the monarchy but I can get behind Chuck and what he's been up to lately in regards to Canadian sovereignty.

He's not being a dick and meddling either. That's apparently a high bar on this planet so I won't complain too much about how silly the public funded monarch LARP is.
I'm just not sure how many Canadians care? Like does this bring any comfort to anyone anymore? I've never met a fan of royalty in Canada outside, but maybe it's a thing out east idk.
It's is a thing way East still for sure. I think more importantly it possibly helps spread word to other commonwealth countries news cycles which can't hurt anything.

Generally idgaf about the monarchy but I've been waiting for them to speak up on it. Our so-called king should give a shit when other countries threaten parts of his Commonwealth.

Sausage fingers just wanted to go to Italy, which he does about as often as he visits Canada. He returns to the family home, Germany, even more often. He's gone to the US more often than he's come to Canada.
If he wants to open his mouth and affirm Canada's right to exist, he hasn't shown any such indication, and certainly not as strongly as the sycophants in the article propose. This augury is pathetic.
