Definitely cross post to !astrophotography@lemmy.world.
If you tell here and there what equipment and software have you used you can can get couple of tips from me and others.
I think you could have used longer exposure times.
I tried 30 second exposures at first, but those were too blurry. 2-4 seconds works fine, but I'll keep experimenting
Depending on the lens, the camera sensor and mount you could push it even further. There are calculators to calculate max exposure time.
If you describe in detail, what camera and lens where you using. ISO, time and f stops. How many frames have you taken? How and what exactly have you done for processing I can give you some tips.
The dotted line is the temporal spacing of the individual frames? A plane?
Yes, probably. You can see from the line where I removed a couple frames that were blurry, and at one point the camera filled its buffer and slowed down a bit
Yeee i was wondering about the gaps ^^ Very cool pic, thanks for sharing. Maybe crosspost it to a photography community
This is a satellite. Plane would have 2 coloured trails on wingtips.
You're right, here's a plane
It is an inter-dimensional being chilling on paid vacation
can i use this as my phone wallpaper?
Sure
That's just one of those scratchy couches with some white fluff things stuck to it
