This meme is valid for 20 hours.
Then it reverses or vanishes.
It depends on the Depends readings....
I don’t get it
Trump just announced a while ago that now tech is exempt from all tariffs. This will probably change because fuck consistency. Everything else not tech is still tariffed.
When Apple builds a factory in 'merica, (10 years from now), and an iPhone is $9600 usd vs 20 eur...then you'll 'get' it.
A bit snarky for something that is hard to keep up with. First there are tarrifs, then not, then some then paused, then all goods, then exemptions for the one thing that actually was logical to tariff, but at reasonable amounts.
Do he wants to encourage manufacture of cheap plastic trinkets in the USA and keep tech manufacturers overseas? It's all just more and more stupid.
Wtf is your problem? I thought maybe the meme had some clever inside joke meaning, didn’t realize it was straightforward literal. My bad. So sorry to offend you.
I get the point this is making, but do we even import any apples?
The US imports a lot of fruit and vegetables from the southern hemisphere when they're in season there and out of season locally.
The bulk of American apples are from Washington.
We also export them. I wonder how high the tariffs on granny smiths are gonna be in China.
So they just need to take a bite out of each of the apples first and they avoid the tariffs.
