Wait, Jared Leto in Tron?

Sadly, yes. Apparently he plays Ares as well, so I assume he will have morbius amounts of screen time.

Whelp that’s going to be a no for me.
- It dropped from a "oh I should see that in theaters" to "eh maybe when it hits streaming"

This hit me like a brick to the face earlier too. I'm relieved to see plenty of others share my sentiment!
But who else still jams out to 30 secs to mars every now and again?

He's the one funding this movie. He's whole reason why this movie was made in the first place.

  Apparently Jeff Bridges said this in an interview

Under the right director, with the right story, Jared Leto can be absolutely brilliant. There are plenty of examples of this, from 'Requiem for a Dream' to 'Dallas Buyers Club'. Unfortunately, the stars have to align perfectly for him to be anything other than a cringe factory of hammy over-acting. I don't know who is directing the new Tron, but the odds of them being the right person to pull a good performance out of Leto are not great. I'd like to be wrong, and I hope I am, but probably not. He's probably going to chew the scenes in the worst way, as he usually does, and be the worst part of the movie, as he usually is.

I don’t really care for Jared Leto and think he’s a creepo, but I recently watched the movie Dallas Buyers Club and thought he did a great job actually

Why the fuck do we need another tron remake already?? The last one is barely a decade old and got a lukewarm reception at best.
- Because it's not a remake. Also, Tron: Legacy was a sequel to the original Tron.
