Pathetic news byte in face of unjustifiable tariff attack. Fine go ahead, but has any of these services stopped EU to EU payments unfairly? This cannot be the ultimate reaction to US attack on Europe: "Somebody do something about unthreatened payment infrastructure". Either there are secret threats from both US and Chinese systems, or this is desperate fearmongering to serve as a distraction to inaction on more pressing matters.
Why does something have to be an "ultimate" reaction to be useful? Reducing the hegemony of US companies in global finance has to have some effect in bring egotistical yankistanis down a notch. Even just the news may create waves of support and push while also making US stock dip.
This might just be a news bite and may not amount to much but the discussions gotta start somewhere.
In response to US attacks/threats, EU has moved to increase Russophobia. A more misguided headline from this weekend, is that Europe is going to protect itself from China instead of getting closer to it. Copying US self destruction, while isolating itself, and threatening suicidal wars is purely shameful treachery of its people. Effectively copying Trump's stupidity 100%, while completely deluding itself that it has relevance.
Obviously, this sycophantic treacherous acceptance of US aggression, is assisting its success instead of the easier path of ensuring its failure and reversal. Only evil subjugation of its slaves, for US empire control, disguised as democracy can explain the pathethic nature of Europe at this moment.
