The virus lock down part two but this time no virus just stupidity.
Hey now, equating MAGA to coronavirus is a gross injustice to coronavirus!
Glad i'm not in the market, have a couple decent gaming pc's, which should be good for another 3 or 4 years. Not to mention 2 Steam Decks.
Why do you need so many PCs or SDs? You can't play on more than one at a time anyway.
One for each game. Duh...
Maybe you can't.
Gee, wouldn't have guessed it from the rising GPU parts prices as well as the tariffs
I upgraded my PC over the last few months (more than I intended; the only original part left is the motherboard) mostly because of this.
I also built it SFF (small form factor) so that I can more easily transport it if I feel the need to leave the US.
I could had guessed that, after looking at the cost of the Nintendo Switch 2. But why do we need to increase the cost on consumers that were all ready making gaming PCs?
I just get any PC, and use open source software, generally works fine as long that the ram is at minimum 4gb of ram and i'm not visiting sketchy sites or downloading sketchy apps.
For those who'd say (I need more then that just to get by) y'all need to get off of Windows. Either switch to Chromeos *or Linux. both are quite affordable and more reliable options, for use case, for basic tasks.
