That hockey stick is a nice touch 😙👌

I’ve seen “Elbows Up” a few times today, always in relation to the tariffs. What does it mean?
- It also means attacking while defending. So when you’ve been slammed against the boards in hockey by another player, they will slam headfirst and at full speed into a stationary pointed elbow in the face. So they wreck themselves as they attack you.
  It’s a perfect metaphor for the US’s attacks on Canada.

- Originally from hockey legend Gordie Howe. He was famous for using his elbows aggressively, among other things.
  It's been recently adopted by Canadians as a rallying slogan against American economic warfare.
