For me on voyager, the link directs to a comment below on that post left by Rubisco, which links to an article about restricting communication to encourage people to purchase things, which I assume the OP considered worthy of posting here.

I bet if one makes a post specifically for Valente's piece it will climb fast. I figured most of lemmy had already seen it, then it quickly got upvoted and commented. -shrugs-

You are correct. I tried to link to the specific comment that linked to the blog post directly, to credit the poster that found the blog post, but many clients apparently make it seem like a link to the top-level post. Here is a direct link to the blog post.
