Both George Cheeks and Chris McCarthy, two of three co-CEOs of the conglomerate, were listed in Fortune’s ranking of LGBTQ+ leaders last year.
If we ever make it out of this shitshow that is the US right now, I'm going to enjoy watching all these companies try and backtrack again. it'll be a disaster that I'd love to see.
They'll blame Trump.
They'll get some people because a jobs a job, but it won't be the same. I expect unions will play a larger role, but it won't be fast. If we make it to the other side we have A LOT of healing to do. (And don't take that as defeat, even if things flipped tomorrow, we'd still have A LOT of healing to do.)
I would really like to see the threat memo or hear the threat phone call that’s taking place ahead of these prominently headlined rollbacks.
