Liberals always tell me to vote with my wallet. So i make sure i always buy chinese made products when available. Apparently this is not what they meant, and they don't like it. 哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈
I hate having to quote someone I'm 99% sure is a liberal and 99.9% sure is not a communist, but PhilosophyTube said it best that, "voting with your wallet means that people with no money get no votes."
I would like to vote with my wallet. My wallet is sadly quite thin. So I have to vote for the cheapest products, that is what I can afford. I guess the majority of people have a thin wallet as well
Ya same honestly this post was inspired by me needing a new laptop battery and bypassing the overpriced "Dell certified" one to get one made by "ZTHY Tech Inc" in china. It works great. 23$ instead of like 60$ from Dell.
Liberals really like their voting; purchasing items is voting with your wallet, driving a vehicle is voting with your car, walking your dog is voting with a leash.
Voting with your dollars is not very effective and we should not put great hope in it, but still I definitely prefer Brazilian first (I am Brazilian) and Chinese second. The PRC is a model for the world.
I don't see why not. Yes, Vietnam's rapprochement attempts with the US are problematic, and their prejudices against China are frustrating (not historically unjustified but still frustrating), but then again China is not perfect either, especially in some of their foreign policy...
In the bigger picture, the better that the AES are doing the more other global south countries will seek to emulate their development model, and that ultimately benefits everyone (except the imperialists).
