It is no longer safe to move our governments and societies to US clouds

Relying on US servers was already terrible idea back in 2001 when the Patriot Act passed.

But yeah, I can see how it's worse now.

It was never safe to move government data onto cloud infrastructure, regardless of the location of the servers.
