I take heart in knowing that the fact that I'm just 0.005% of the way there means I'm already ahead of 100% of the people that never even started.
- Something like shoot for the moon, if you miss you'll die alone in the void far from the stars.

- Yes, but maybe another way with more achievable goals would then be better?
Most sources on Google are putting average step length for walking between 2.1 to 2.6 feet (depending on height and sex). So it would actually take far fewer steps most likely, since the comic is assuming 1 step = 1 foot traveled.
- Of course 1 step = 1 foot traveled, you have 1 foot per leg, therefore 1 foot per step.
  
  I was trying to avoid someone saying that but I guess I really walked into that one
