Defense stocks drop after Trump says Pentagon spending could be halved
Shares of Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin were under pressure after President Donald Trump raised the idea of large cuts to defense spending.
Trump said Thursday at the White House the U.S. could cut defense spending in half at some point in the future. The comments came in the context of Trump discussing a potential conference on defense spending with China and Russia.
Boy, the kompromat Russians have on Trump must really be something for him to say things like this this out loud. I wonder if the Chinese have something on him too?
I mean, he’s struck “independent Taiwan” from gov websites, so makes sense he’s working for china as well.
He's not doing to turn down money from anybody. That and power are his only goals.
This is just him manufacturing a dip for his friends to buy in on, and to pressure the bosses for bribes.
