Today, President Donald J. Trump declared that an emergency exists in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and ordered Federal assistance to supplement
"Specifically, FEMA is authorized to identify, mobilize, and provide, at its discretion, equipment and resources necessary to alleviate the impacts of the emergency. Emergency protective measures, limited to direct federal assistance, will be provided at 75 percent Federal funding."
I thought FEMA was out of money? 🤔

They had a breakdown about the time one FEMA worker was caught telling her subordinates not to help at houses with trump signs, yes. They also had a breakdown about FEMA spending millions on migrants that year but not having money to help the citizens.
I was thinking more about the armed right-wing militia confronting FEMA workers with guns.
Can't we get something out of Kentucky in exchange for FEMA aid? Seems like a missed opportunity.
