I'm no centrist, I'm pretty far left myself, but I'm against authoritarianism and thus failed the Tankie purity test.
I dare you to find anything pro tankie in my submissions. In fact I am banned on hexbear and probably a bunch of other related communities for dunking on them.
However I don't believe their agenda warrants defederation, that ultimately just turns the fediverse into a bunch of differently flavored echo chambers. Discourse thrives from a variety of voices, and as a leftist myself it seems silly you work so hard to silence voices you and I have so much in common with, while there are much more important fights. Leftist infighting is as much a threat to the movement as is the capital and its lackeys.
That being said I of course disagree with the chinussia apologia that sometimes crops up. I just don't see why the fediverse should splinter without any real cause or benefit.
