Anyone that still uses twitter needs help
Every time I see one of these posts about an OSS project finally moving off Twitter, I have this same baffled reaction: why the fuck were they still using it‽
this but unironically. send them resources on how to transition smoothly to the fediverse.
I'd honestly accept them moving to blue-fucking-sky.
Anything is better than the current state of Xitter.
Good news
The discussion has gotten completely off-topic. I'll lock the the thread until the moderators (@anzo@programming.dev @dwraf_of_ignorance@programming.dev) starts responding to reports.
Wut
This gent is a fascist (but refuses to admit it, too much of a coward to say what they are out in the open) and so every time someone in the Foss community engages in any act that is opposed to fascism, You'll see them concern trolling on the thread.
Lots of defending Facebook and Xitter because those sites keep them filthy gays in their place.
Twitter is pro-religion? What kind? Satanism? Muslim? Hindu? Oh! Buddhist! Elon's clearly a Buddhist.
Run by an open fascist who actively and proudly boosted the Trump campaign = Pro christianity, d'uh.
This guy's a specialist in saying the quiet part out loud, tbqh.
God doesn't exist. God logically, provably, observationally, and theoretically doesn't exist. What do you like about religion, anyway? The hate? The lies? The violence?
The excuse to shit on people not like themselves and pretend it is "righteous" and "Not toxic", I imagine
It's what most religious concern trolls love about it anyway. Plus in another post they said "religion is an example of non-toxic anti-lgbt" which is like. VERY telling of how they think.
Religious folks who aren't in it for the excuse to be hateful? You will find them at like. The temple. Or some church-bound charity op. As opposed to hanging out in social media starting shit with people.
Good.
