Newsweek - National "50 States" anti-Trump protest planned for Feb 5: What to know
There is a social media following creating protests at state capitols across the country on Wednesday.
This is important, don't get me wrong, but most people can't drive to bum-fuck for a protest. Most US State capitals are in the middle of nowhere purposefully. Props to all the organizers getting stuff like this off the ground. We need more material means of dissent.
I wonder if it would make more sense for people to make appointments at their nearest firing range, for basic firearm safety training. Just, you know, in case a burglar burgles a home or something. If the government saw that 10,000 people went for training this weekend, they'd feel better about our safety. And more could join in next weekend.
Some of us are doing both.
If only people where willing to protest Trump getting into office last November...

Hearing about this 4 days before it was going to happen just seems like poor planning...
You need a solid month at the very minimum if you really want people to see, prepare, and be there....
