Looking at you, Volkswagen. Don't store billions of records in an AWS bucket that can be breached.

Companies are legally required to store some data, like sales for example
4 4 ReplyObvoiusly companies need some data, both for practical and legal requirements.
But tracking every start and stop of a car with 1 meter accuracy meets none of these requirements. This is just a needless risk for everyone involved.
