Oh man got to get used to putting in 2025. Anyway if you going to look through the archives but not all of them I say hit up the new years for the last few years.
Yeah, that's right 2016, cover your face. You know what you did.
that makes me wonder if 2024 is the front guy half shielding his face.
I understand why the other years are shown but why 1990? Just a random choice or did something happen that year that I’m forgetting?
I mean I don't know but I have been surprised at little things the artist has done but it was the year tim berners lee did a first like www server thing.
Here's some of Wikipedia's list of important events from 1990 (reformatted into a proper list):
- The Human Genome Project started
- Hubble Space Telescope was launched
- Various communist countries were in the process of collapsing
- The Gulf War started
- The early '90s recession started
- The World Wide Web was invented (as the other reply mentioned already mentioned)
I have no idea which, if any, of these events the author might have had in mind.
