Just like when Popeyes did nothing when one of their managers blatantly discriminated against an autistic child for just existing.
Is that better or worse than Cracker Barrel segregating diners until the aughts, and having to be sued to stop it? Same? Same degree, but less of an issue because it wasn't systemic (probably)?
If it were real I'd be tempted to drive to wherever they have Popeye's.
Edit: wtf I looked it up and we actually have one lol
Edit: wtf I looked it up and
They actually posted that?!?
we actually have one lol
...oh
they've successfully pandered to you with an advertisement of literal empty words
Popeyes is amazing. There's a dozen in my area. Out of all the national fried chicken chains, easily the best.
KFC is disgusting. Dave's Hot Chicken? More like Dave's Hot garbage. Wingstop? Just stop. I'm not eating the chicken sandwich that hates gay people.
If you're asking what the best fried chicken & fried chicken sandwich, unfortunately my city is extremely spoiled with local joints.
Just to be clear, the chicken sandwich itself holds no ill will to the homosexual community. Sandwiches are generally incapable of hate.
Sadly, the ghouls that own the company that makes the sandwiches are incapable of reaching the same level of human empathy that an inanimate foodstuff can.
Aside from that, you ain't missing much. It tasted weird and sweet 20 years ago when they started selling them here, before the controversy.
Not going to disagree with your cross-comparison here, but have you tried Korean-style fried chicken yet?
yeah. even fast food in general popeyes to me is another class. along the lines of bueno beef or portillos to me.
If they made fresh chicken that place would be so fire. Unfortunately every time I’ve been there every piece of my meal- chicken, fries, Mac- all taste approximately 4-8 hours old. It’s inedible garbage that tastes as though if it were fresh it would be some of the most bomb chicken I’ve ever had. I’ve even got at different times of day when it would most likely be fresh, but apparently they make all their food at 5AM just for it to sit under heat lamps until they close… then reheat that same trash the following day just to save money.
I hate that for you. If you find a good Popeye's it's really great for fast food. Unfortunately to find a good one you've got to look for a line.
if you find yourself there again for some reason order the non breaded strips. can't remember wha they are called but I have never seen them pre prepare them as there is not enough call to do so. It will be a bit of a wait though. they basically pan fry them and without the breading the spicyness hits that much harder.
If that is even true: Silence, brand.
"Creative Destruction" - I like it.
It'd be funny if McDonald's stock went down for a couple of days and some of the backlash was a corporate no narcing policy.
It was a customer not employee
Ma’am this is a shitpost
Should have gone to Waffle House.
Dude would've ran out of bullets
That's some Wendy's level.
Yes you would.
Yes you absolutely fucking would.
Shut the fuck up corporate social media.
A marketing post like this is tone deaf as fuck and an insult to our intelligence to even imply you wouldn't have. I'm so fucking sick of corporations seeing any internet sensation as an opportunity to cash in and make it about them. Fuck you.
Relax, not a real tweet
Bro you seriously think this is a real tweet?
so you would of obstructed the law. got it. no more Popeyes for me.
name a single corporation that hasn't flagrantly broken a law
Frabbenstachbaun and Partners.
I made them up so they are the only business that haven't broken the law yet.
Pretty sure not reporting a crime and even not assisting in an investigation doesn't count as obstruction. We aren't required to assist the justice department do their job. Even when asked to do so. A judge has to be used to legally require information out of a person. Obstruction is usually limited to physical intervention that knowingly and intentionally inhibits the duties of a law-person.
Duck Duck Go and Claude concur, fwiw. Except:
If law enforcement directly questions you about a crime, you must be truthful. Lying to federal investigators is itself a crime under 18 U.S.C. § 1001, and similar state laws often exist for state investigations.
What an absolute chud you must be. What other mass murderers' deaths caused you to not eat different fast foods after?
acutally i don't eat fast food. it was kind of a joke becuase this is one of the dumbest tweets ive ever seen
Psychologist here:
You're stuck on number 4 mate.
It was legal to force African Americans to give up their seats to whites on the bus, until a lot of highly moral activity that was illegal at the time changed that.
Jim Crow would likely still be in full force today had it not been for adult levels of moral outrage, with accompanying illegal demonstration, that superceded immoral laws.
It's a tragic mistake to conflate legality with morality.
Not calling the police when a customer tells you that another customer is a little suspicious isn't obstruction
Pick up that can.
half life 2. such a good game!
Maybe the whole "they sell factory farmed meat" thing should have been the line?
i could care less where my meat comes from.
