Chappell roan is the fuckin best. I love her music and I like that she’s got a pretty reasonable take on voting. Bill Maher is a grown-ass man who needs to stop being an edgelord.
Critical support to Chappell Roan for speaking out but my criticism is that she said she's still going to vote for Holocaust Harris, which undermines the message she was sending in the first place :(
Maybe it undermines her message for us, but to liberals her saying she was still voting for Harris was not good enough, and they came for her neck anyway (going so far as to question her queer identity, a group of people they claim to care so much about). I think her opinion reflects what a lot of people feel. To me this just feels like a step in the direction of further radicalization. Then again, I am a fan of hers so take my opinion with a grain of salt. My main criticism of her is that she still thinks the democrats are “the left.”
