- I dont really care what people post, as long as its on a free and decentralized network. And as long as bad posts are in their respective community (as is the case here) its fine with me.
  Lemmy is not about "good posts" its about removing central authority.
  
  I've been thinking about this lately.
  You're right in that there's no central "authority", but lemmy has become very centralised with all the content on a few big instances in fiefdoms controlled by a few mods who seem to be weirdos with too much time on their hands.
  I guess the benefit is, if an instance or a mod does something really egregious there's the potential to just move to another instance.
  I think we need another few iterations of exodus from other platforms because of whatever shitstorm for lemmy to develop its own vibrance.

- It has been for a while, as soon as the censored word posts from grandma started showing up. It's pretty damn uncomfortable

  Also, this is clearly not a real Facebook post, it's an obvious joke.
  
  Because it didn't make people laugh. It's cringe. In humor and presentation. It's like six attempts in crappy cropping and a reach at that from a dead horse that was old even on Reddit.
  But yea. Nothing is wrong with it.

I hate this fictional couple already. Despite the fact that they're clearly upper middle class and educated, they're too lazy to capitalize "I", or his name.
- Man didn't capatlize her name....at the start of a sentence. He had to back out of the autocorrect to do that (or use a desktop...but still)!
  
  You whippersnappers. This used to be a thing when chat didn't autocapitalize. Using caps at the beginning of sentences was similar to using all caps now. Shouting.
- Either it's a WILD coincidence, or they're main characters from Suits. Mike and Rachel, with the username "zaney"? Come on...
  
  The other one is Ross, that was Mike's last name in the show.
- News to me that one can see 'upper middle class and educated' in a mugshot.
  And dude, that's from a chat, not a formal letter.
