How is your week going ?

- My partner might go out of town soon so I get to do whatever I want which will probably be dumb music and video games. Honestly not any different from when they’re here.
  I enjoy it when my partner goes away, i dont do anything different as such, but at least i get full control of the television!!

I got dumped last Friday and I've spent the week largely waiting for it to sink in. I can feel it slowly encroaching on my thoughts, and sometimes I feel completely lost in it, but it's not really "here" yet. Not got much planned for the weekend.
On the plus side, I've started Pilates.
- I recently Pilates too! Some of the balance stuff is really hard for me but I like the challenge.

All i can say is, roll on Friday, plus i woke up this morning thinking it was Friday.
Don't you just hate it when you have to go back a whole day?!!

My rent increased 13% and the price to see my doctor for 5 minutes just to refill a rx went up 90%. I haven't paid my gas bill in 4 months.

I have an initial interview tomorrow for what could end up being a very fulfilling job (if the pay is even remotely in my ballpark), and a recruiter wants to present me to his client for another job opening.

  Waiting to hear if I make the first cut for the fulfilling job. Should hear by Monday. I had interviewer laughing though, so I'm hopeful.
  No clue if recruiter has passed along my resume on job 2. Things sometimes move on beach time here.

Could be worse. The summer death has officially kicked in and the outdoors feels rancid right now.
My car has been acting weird and I’ve been driving it around the past 2 months playing “breakdown roulette” with it. Dropping it off at the mechanic tonight and hoping for minimal wallet damage and nothing too extreme. It’s a 24 year old car and I’m not ready to say bye to it yet.

It's a mixed bag. I've been on vacation since last weekend, but I cut it short and came home today due to spraining my ankle earlier this week
- That's a bummer! I took a vacation week last month, only to wind up spending the whole week sick. So I feel for you there. Hopefully the sprain heals quickly.

Been dealing with nicotine withdrawals which have resulted in a lack of sleep all week. But I'm getting through it.
Someone from my place of work passed away Tuesday night after being hospitalized last weekend. A solid reminder that it could be worse, so I'll keep my complaints to a minimum.
- YO. Nicotine withdrawl is no joke. Don't beat yourself up if you slip. Sorry about your co-worker.

Broke my leg hang gliding so I'm in a hospital 1.5 hrs from home. I miss my family. Morphine's pretty cool tho 🤘
