thegr8goldfish @startrek.website The writing has been on the wall for months. If his debate performance was regarded as warmly as his last SoTU we wouldn't need to have this discussion but when a large portion of your base is abandoning an incumbent, you need to read the room.

Hugin @lemmy.world Biden's selection as Obama's VP 16 years ago was talked about a good capstone to a long career in politics.
Seriously nobody in their 80s is mentally fit enough to lead a county.
