  • Being rated mature is the most interesting bit to me. I know they don't give a shit about third parties any more, but they have seemed to remain within their family friendly bubble for the most part

    Edit: after a bit of research they have published M rates titles in Bayonetta and Ninja Gaiden. They also purchased a majority share in Monolith one year before Disaster: Day of Crisis released. However, Disaster was never released in North America, as well as Bayonetta and Ninja Gaiden being from Japan, and other companies originally. Eternal Darkness was also an M rated title published by Nintendo for the GameCube. As far as I can tell, this will be the first mature title actually developed by Nintendo, unless they announce another company is working on it. Seems as if Nintendo of America may be more strict, but that is just conjecture
