Lawmakers approved watered-down law at the end of last month
Took a while since they first mentioned it.
Hows the situation in Germany right now? Last i checked there where plans but nothing actual changed.
The process has only started yet, the current draft:
They still have to write a law and have that accepted by Bundestag and Bundesrat. 2024 maybe.
The worst thing about weed in Germany in the ‘80s, beyond illegality, was that it was all hash. We would rejoice when someone came back from international travel with actual flowers.
no smoking near kindergartens and schools
You forgot playgrounds. And it's a zone of 200m diameter around the entrance of those places. In my hometown there are exactly 2 houses where it would be legal to smoke in front of, in a sea of prohibition.
It's taking ages in Europe.. I thought that after the US and Canada this would go very fast on this side of the pond as well, but not at all. Congrats to the grand-duchy!
