Map of literacy rates per municipality according to the 2020 census. If the vast majority (1508/1634) are above 90% literacy, is it worth it?
Edit: Is it also worth it to post such huge-ass, 1:1,000,000 maps on Lemmy?

- For a moment I thought it's representing low literacy rates because of all the red.
  
  Yes, which is why it isn't recommended to use reds often to represent data as it has a negative connotation by default. Source: I do mapping, cartography, and gis work.

Ever feel like 2 days off is not enough?

  Nung nag-umpisa lumuwag yung lockdown, we started with a 9am-2pm schedule. It was a temporary measure and often it felt like there was not enough time to finish my tasks. But it gave me enough time to take a 1-2 hour nap while leaving me some hours more for a bit more work and leisure.
- Yeah. It's really not enough... 😔
- kahit siguro 3 or 4 days na off di pa rin sapat.. lalo na mababa sahod...
- Not enough. Yung Saturday mo is to recuperate from your work from Mon - Friday (assuming a normal M-F, Weekends off schedule), Sunday is for leisure or for some faith, and then fun, kaso nga lang rushed lagi etong mga lakad ng Sunday because you need to get ready for Monday.
  4 day work week may be a possible solution kasi may Rest Day, Gimik Day, and then prep day assuming ung hours for the 5th day of work are spread over to the other 4, or some other form of making up the 5th day through the other 4 days.

One Sports just announced they will air the FIFA Women's World Cup, at least for the Philippines matches.
- Good news for my dad who's into women's football more than the mens. For his sake, they should air the entire WC run regardless if it has the Malditas (or Filipinas as they are now called lol).
- Yeah, would be good to see more matches than just the Filipinas matches for the FWWC

- Betamax/VCRs, CDs, cassettes, rewritable and recordable discs, floppy disks, video game cartridges.
  
  I still see blank VHS tapes being sold at Landmark. I have no idea why, although it makes perfect sense why that stock isn't moving.
- Setting and planning activities for the coming weeks with no instant messaging. Also just visiting your friends' house whenever.

  Usually happens late at night (our time) when there's not much activity. On Saturday, it was caused by a DDoS attack. Not sure what was the reason for Sunday which was longer and went up to 1am.

Nagbalik ang mga daga after so many years. I'm not a fan of poison because they just end up dying somewhere and stinking up the place. I also don't like glue bait since I'm not "man" enough to execute them once trapped.
So, I'm trying a new approach. Just placed an order for an electronic bait after reading up on it and watching videos. Sana effective.

My main phone (One Plus 6T) would be 5 years old by December. And I still don't feel like replacing it yet. Problem though is that I can't find a good protective case for it now that the current case is slowly falling apart.

  Medyo wary ako dun sa cheap looking cases due to bad experience. But you reminded me that I actually still have that Spigen case on my cart. I was still holding on the possibility that I could find it locally but I might end up completing the purchase at Amazon.

- TL;DR:
  Teddit is an open source software intended as an alternative front-end to reddit. It doesn't use an API (hence why you can only view it), but it still connects to reddit in order to present content. That means reddit can still implement restrictions to the servers hosting teddit.

Redid the literacy map with @mr_m00 's recommendations. Personally, I don't like using gradients for this; there is not much differentiation between the 90s and the 80s except the kind of green. I would still prefer the rainbow scheme more; at least there is so much color differentiation. I would just reverse the palette like so (although I do admit the blue is too dark to show borders):
(On second thought, the red-blue scheme can be applied here, as this is just percentages)

- Yes, it's possible... and for PAGCOR's purposes, 3M is exactly the money you need for a rebrand given the scale and reach of the corporation. Yun nga lang, that usually applies to a big reputable design firm with a wealth of experience and clientele in their belt. Not some mom-and-pop operating out of a Las Pinas bungalow and without a website.
- Yes. We don't really know their contracts, though, but hindi lang naman limited sa PAGCOR logo ang budget na yan. It can be either sa internal design, re-branding or whatnot.

  Switching from Spotify Premium to YouTube Premium has been one of the best decisions I've made regarding subscription services.
