Maldives’ representative backed Palestine’s UN admission, demanded action to stop the genocide

The countries with the veto are, with the possible exception of the UK, the countries that the UN can't touch anyway. If anything, I'm happy they are stating the double standards explicitly.

Honestly, I doubt anything would've substantially changed if UN passed resolutions against Russia. The power of UN mostly applies to smaller states that get bullied by the west.
