What android client do you use?

So far, for me, liftoff and connect seems the most complete.

I keep coming back to connect. I find it offers the best feature set currently.
- I just moved to Connect and I am really impressed. I was waiting for Boost, but I think I might stay here.
- Is Connect open source? I can't find a repo for it.
  
  It's not.
  The dev says they'll open source it later, but it's just hypothetical for now.

Jerboa. Does everything I need it to.
When Boost for Lemmy comes out however I will most likely transition to there.
- Tried jerboa first, then connect, for me connect is way better and reminds me of rif.

- Wefwef (now Voyager) until Sync is released. Honestly Voyager is pretty damn good already.

Thunder for me

Using Voyager for now because it's the least fussy, in terms of not needing to install anything. The instancr in signed up on, Lemmy.zip, has it installed as their mobile site!

Just waiting for Boost so I can launch the rocket :)

I've tried them all, and as of right now Connect feels the most polished and feature rich. So that's my recommendation.
- Same story here, and Connect seems to be the furthest along.
  I'll probably switch to Sync for Lemmy when it makes it's debut, but Connect is almost a good enough replacement.

It's getting close.

Currently I'm using Connect for Lemmy as it's the closest to what I'm used to. In fact, it seems like the dev is trying to make a clone of Sync lol. But I'm chomping at the bit for the release of Sync for Lemmy

Currently using liftoff and its been great and done everything I want it to do but will be jumping ship the second Sync for lemmy comes out. !syncforlemmy@lemmy.world
Side not, holy shit when you put an "!" the start typing a sub while on desktop it starts to autopopulate then you can pick what you want and it just puts in the formatting. Idk if that is instance specific or something lemmy itself just does but it's awesome.

using connect for now, ill be switching to boost once its available!
- Loved Boost for Reddit and realized it was the only reason I actually checked reddit for anything. Super excited to use the Lemmy version, especially since it was killed right after the Material 3 redesign lol.

I'm on Jerboa right now but I used Sync before that so once Sync for Lemmy comes out I'm switching back right away

I've looked at many as an alternative to Jerboa but they all seem to be very similar to each other.

I'm using Connect for Lemmy though I am waiting for Sync to release as a Lemmy client. Once that releases I'll probably switch to that.
- I'm in the same boat. Sync was my go to Reddit client and will most likely be my go to Lemmy client. For now though I don't mind Connect and it's Canadian so gotta support the fellow Cannuck lol
- Sync is gonna blow the fediverse away!

Still just using the PWA, tbh. It's not perfect but I'm overall pretty happy with it. Probably won't move to an app until Sync or Artemis launch.

Voyager, and Liftoff.

Connect is by far the most polished but the bar isn't that high unfortunately. I'm waiting for Sync, it was the best Reddit client in my opinion. At least when it came to UX, it was really good. I have high expectations for Sync for Lemmy.

I move between Thunder and Connect. Connect added a bottom navigation option that I really like making it the current leader.

I'm waiting for Sync for Lemmy to arrive. I've just been using the website on mobile. It's not that bad!
- As a Sync Pro user for years, I suggest giving Connect a shot. The swipe to hide posts was what finally locked me in.
  I'm going to jump to Sync as soon as it's available, but Connect is a good holdover.
  
  I did see Connect a lot in my local feed, as its dedicated forum is a community in my account's instance. It looks promising and I'll try it out. Thanks for the suggestion.

Jerboa has stuck with me the most. Also wefwef. I bounce between those.
I am patiently waiting for Sync though.

Recent versions of Jerboa are the best I've tried.

I've been using Jerboa for a while now, and it looks like I'm staying for a while on this boat.

Liftoff has been pretty great so far. Looking forward to trying Sync though.

Boost was incredible when I was on the previous platform!
I want to try that out. I did use Liftoff, Jerboa and Connect.
May be this will change when Boost comes on the Play Store, but for now, Jerboa has been my go-to.

Sadly most client has jitter scrolling except voyager and summit
- Summit user here too.
  It's very rough and ready but it works, and does seem to be updated every now and then.
  It's very feature-light but hopefully that'll get patched in now while the Lemmy app goldrush bumps up a gear.

I rotate between liftoff, connect, and jerboa. All three are fantastic but I'm growing a preference for liftoff

I switch back and forth between Jerboa and Liftoff. Looking forward to see what Sync will bring to the table.
- Same. Jerboa has been pulling ahead of Liftoff for me though, so I haven't used it as much recently. Looking forward to trying Sync and Boost.

I'm using the current Thunder nightly. I think it has the best design and does everything I want it to do.

Coming from Joey For Reddit — Connect is most similar. I'm still very open to new clients as Joey only just stopped working Yesterday.
- Yep, Connect has a lot of visual customizations (like our dear departed Joey) that I enjoy in an app. Liftoff is also quite good.

The voyager app is rock solid I'm amazed how it fares against apps. I hope jerboa can keep improving as it is the "official" way of browsing lemmy.

I'm enjoying connect with AMOLED theme and smaller text and images. It's the most RIF feel I could find.

Using Jerboa for now until either Slide for Lemmy or Infinity for Everything are more stable.

  They're not very usable atm.

I'm self-hosting an instance of voyager and it's been great so far. The devs are pushing updates so often, sometimes I have to update it twice in a single days.

Liftoff will always be my favourite

Jerboa for Lemmy. Also pre-registered for Boost for Lemmy and Slide for Lemmy.

Jerboa for now, but Liftoff sounds promising and I might give it a try.

Thunder is very smooth and easy to use.

Thunder is the best, then connect.
- I downloaded Thunder from Neostore but haven't tried it yet. I'm currently using Connect as my goto and enjoying the experience of the app and Lemmy so far.
  
  Definitely give Thunder a try after customizing the settings (swipe section). Summit updated so I'll be using that today since gestures have been added. It's still snappier than the other apps.

Connect. I was going to use boost, but it hasn't arrived, and I've been surprisingly happy with connect.
- Joey for reddit was dropped and was looking for reddit replacement. Found this and using Connect. So far so good.

I've got jerboa, but typically I just use a web browser since the mobile experience is really good for most fediverse platforms, and when they're not it's an opportunity to improve them -- lotide had a terrible experience on mobile until I improved it on my site which then the dev used to create a whole new theme that worked way better on mobile.

I normally use Thunder as my main client since it's smooth and is pretty customizable.
But I sometimes use Jerboa whenever a feature is missing

Jerboa is the only one I've used and it does the job.

Waiting for Sync for Lemmy. Meanwhile is use the Voyager webapp (previously called wefwef)

I want thunder to be better than it is right now. Thankfully the dev is working hard at it, but it's very slow to load, logs me out, and says it can't fetch my subscribed list of communities... Sigh. It looks so nice, too.
For now jerboa is nice

Liftoff. Waiting for Sync for Lemmy.

I started with Jerboa because I browse in compact mode and it reminded me the most of Boost, but once I found Thunder there was just no going back. Very polished UI and the dev team has been on a roll with fixes and features. It's only on GitHub right now but it's pending review on the play store. Check it out even if you tried it a week or two ago - it's great and only getting better!

I've switched between Liftoff, Jerboa and Connect and although I don't feel there is much between either of them in terms of features and functionality, I have settled on Connect. I came over from Reddit and was a big fan of Slide and Infinity fwiw.
maybe its just me but Jerboa and Liftoff regularly logged me out?!
