The valuelessness of Reddit upvotes made Reddit create notifications when your post / comment gets upvoted

On the official app you would get notifications at certain milestones (1 upvote, 5 upvotes, 10 upvotes, 20 upvotes, 1000 upvotes, etc.).

I think that was in Reddit itself, not any app. You know, apps just display notifications, and reddit creates them.

And yeah, as another user noted, this happened at different "milestones" like 1, 5, 10, 20 etc.
