Me, i still need google maps 😔 although i use gmaps webview (google maps in a webview wrapper). osmand is my default, ive cycled from london to amsterdam using it, it is great. I do sometimes still need integrated train/bus time tables, which i now use magic earth for, except on strike days then its back to gmaps, and also gmaps for checking if the shop is open yet when it isnt on the osm maps
Obtanium (also available on IzzyOnDroid) can be used to updatr an app directly from a GitHub link, or many other sources. Great for apps like Bromite with an out-of-date F-Droid release.

this app allows sync to a large number of smartwatches, so you don't have to use the privacy nightmare proprietary apps from the smartwatch vendor.
In my case I use it with an Amazfit Bip, and it works well
