It doesn't need to. If the deal they cut with the US nets them a wealthy life in a pretty place by a lake after all is said and done, it'll all've been worth it. And they might even actually get what they were promised!

So long as the liberals support the "cause" the civilians, the women, the children, are being sent out to die for they will romanticize the shit out of it. They lap that shit up. What the actual fuck. Ukraine is a model? Are you serious? I thought Russia was the aggressor here. And that the atrocities are mounting. A model for how to destroy the lives of millions for decades to come?
And then training a child to use a high powered rifle as part of the model? Jesus Christ this is incredibly difficult to parse as a blunder. It looks like deliberate socialization of proxy war with open anticipation of complete devastation of the proxy.
