I’m pretty sure they’ve said this multiple times throughout the years and then everytime theres a story it did happen
Almost as if... because there weren't consequences the first time they blatantly lied to people's faces... they just continued to do so, repeatedly.

People don't even have to be using TikTok itself, I play Marvel Snap! and it tries to connect to TikTok & Bytedance servers. Anything owned by Bytedance, they will get your info.
Essentially any and all phones send info to someone. It's remarkable when people talk about how secure their iPhone is. Zero clue that they still have no privacy.
