The Russian Black Sea Fleet is getting bodied out there.

Russian warship: "Snake Island, I, Russian warship, repeat the offer: put down your arms and surrender, or you will be bombed. Have you understood me? Do you copy?"
Ukrainian 1 to Ukrainian 2: "That's it, then. Or, do we need to fuck them back off?"
Ukrainian 2 to Ukrainian 1: "Might as well."

Best part, that Russian warship was the Moskva. Pictured top-left, with the red X through it.

These things strike me as very... expensive.
- And not easily replaced.
  
  Months for a single boat if your logistics are top tier. Years otherwise.
  For the tonnage crossed of this list, easily close to a decade to replace.
  
  Yeah I’m pretty sure haven’t built a surface combatant larger than a frigate since the fall of the USSR.
  
  Irony a lot of these were built in Soviet Ukraine, so nice to see them laid to rest in their home 🥰

What's the story behind the one circled ship? Captured?
- I think it's this one. Attacked twice, probably partially sunk in port.
  The insert b&w photo is of another ship sunk a couple of days ago by drone boats, with great footage (https://sopuli.xyz/post/8635610). It's the small one in the row above the circled ship.

I like to imagine at least one of these remaining ships probably doesn't even exist and is just a big embezzlement. It would be par for the course with Russia.

- By the size of the chart I think it's the black sea fleet and they can't bring any warships through the Bosporus during war time.
