They already had the Joker as the twist reveal in two games, one of which he was already dead for.
At this point I don't think they know how to make a game without putting the Joker in it, and I'm not even surprised anymore

They're saying this is the introduction of the Elseworlds so it's a joker but not the one from the previous games. Seems like a cheap way to justify skins and any other DLC they bolt on.

So instead of putting it into the base game they make a dlc and givi it for free because they are such nice guys.
