Boo to that. Lots of people complained about the name “wefwef” being stupid, but I liked it because it was stupid!

V’ger seems like a direct nod to Star Trek 1.
I mean, the fact that the Fediverse is not called The Federation is a missed opportunity.

Yeah, unfortunately DS9 was already taken.

Nah, it’s called Voyager as a nod to Apollo, the most popular Reddit app that had to shutdown because of the api changes and the UI inspiration for wefwef/voyager. Been following wefwef/voyager since the beginning so I figured I’d chime in!
