Piranhas are opportunistic little buggers. They probably won't try to bite you or any large live animal unless they're very hungry.
So it's totally safe to swim with us-I mean them.

Right side could be a shrimp. Of all the critters in my tank, the shrimp are the only ones that have investigated my fingers, eagerly once they realize I’m not a threat even.
