Riders on the Storm -The Doors
Classic!
I Am The Highway by Audioslave.
RHCP has a lot of great cruising songs too. Some great ones by Stone Temple Pilots as well. Really, I've got cruising playlists, but if I have to choose just one track, it's definitely I Am The Highway.
Been a while since I binged some audioslave... Too long. That needs to change soon.
i read this as bing-ed some Audioslave... oops
The Wheels on the Bus - Raffi
Found the parent
I think that was ap-parent.
(Why yes, I do frequent !dadjokes@lemmy.world)
The Bluey soundtrack is full of some bangers too, FYI.
Creek is Beautiful from the Bluey soundtrack has entered the chat.
Lost, by Linkin Park. It’s such a hype song, beautiful, sad, relatable, it’s really an incredible gift Chester left us.
RIP you beautiful man, the world misses you more than you could ever know.
Which anime is this ?
No Sleep Til Brooklyn
Beastie Boys?
It’s either Radar Love by Golden Earring or LA Woman/Roadhouse Blues by the Doors
Baby Shark
Sweet Emotion - Aerosmith. Get some of those Dazed & Confused vibes.
i guess my age will show a bit here, but it's public radio that's on whenever i'm in the car. when there's kids along, though, it's usually soundtracks to their movies (yea, those. and i don't really mind--i like 'em too)
I used to always go for NPR but now it's psychology, biographies or crime analysis on YouTube.
Ehh, I don't consider myself that old (35), but for me too. I actually like when the host speaks sometimes, that there are people phoning in, news in every hour, and fresh hits I don't know about yet.
Interstate Love Song by STP
Open road song - Eve 6
Kickapoo, Tenacious D
A LONG ASS FUCKIN TIME AGO
IN A TOWN CALLED KICKAPOO

Nightcall by Kavinsky
Lana.. hey Lana..
DAAAANGER ZONE!!
Kavinsky - Nightcall
White Trash Heroes by Archers of Loaf.
I listen to a constant stream of audiobooks when I drive (and the rest of the time).
Life is a highway Remember me Turbo lover (I played a lot of GT3 a-spec)
Little bones by the tragically hip
driving song. Not really as its a great song but not to drive to.
Since getting a car with a sub, lotsa Clipping., UGK, Ghostemane, Venetian Snares, Tiiper…
Most played song lately is probably ‘96 Neve Campbell.
When I need to get somewhere quickly: Carpenter Brut - Turbo Killer
Igor's Theme - Tyler The Creator
Probably Cem Kılıç - Nasıl Bir İnsansın: [YouTube][Piped Video]
Although I don't drive, nor I plan to do so as long as public transport remains usable. This one just immediately connects with bus in my head because I first heard it in Bus Simulator: Ultimate. It's pretty good (the song).
Otherwise it would be Little Richard - Lucille: [YouTube][Piped Video] because it reminds me of riding a bicycle with dad and listening to this song on his Sony Ericsson W200i with MPS-70 external speakers.
Two come to mind.
Rebel Without A Clue - Bonnie Tyler
Head Over Heels - The Go Go's
DeLorean Dynamite by Todd Terje
Without Me by Eminem.
Old town road - Lil Nas X
Either real human being or something from my eurobeat playlist, there’s no in between
Dreams-Fleetwood Mac, if I throw on a playlist with shuffle and I get this first, I know it's gonna be a good day
I think a good driving song should be light, energetic, happy, and remind me of summer. It's way too hard to pick just one track but any song off the album Love it Love it by Nana Grizol is always a good one.
