UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT

I don't know how it happened, but the community lost its entire mod team and was left abandoned. So I'm here now.

I'd like to poll the community about what you'd like to see going forward. Is there desire for more community centric material, like HOWTOs, IAMAs, discussion, along with the porn? Something like what a top level Reddit forum for bondage would do. Or are ya'll just here for the pron?

I'll try to do my best to maintain continuity for the community for now, but hopefully also finding a new path going forward that inspires more and better submissions and community support.

Comments and general criticisms or suggestions welcome. Please, speak!

I'm personally here for the porn but u wouldn't mind seeing the other stuff too. Like have certain days of the week be about how to's.
- Super happy to see this sentiment. My feeling is that a porn only community won't ever break out into a general place where people support each other. Nothing wrong with porn. I like it too. 😆 But bondage in general is so much more than just porn. We need the porn. But we also need a place for people to help each other learn and do bondage.
  That's JMO. I don't want to dictate everything. But I do hope more people feel welcome and safe to post and comment.

The description and rules of the comm is always a good place to start revamping once you get a feel.
You might want to consider being gender inclusive too.

  There is/can be such a varied range of "bondage" and right now, what's been posted is just plain vanilla ropes and boobs recyled stuff (I have probably a few TB of vanilla stuff lying around haha) - not very inspiring tbh 😉

Community centric material should be moved to a separate discussion group, preferably moderated by yourself. Otherwise it's going to be buried by what all the internet monkeys really want to see.

Potentially make a sort of tag system that will need to be in every title? Something like '[female/male] [softcore/hardcore]'?
Also texts posts I think will be okay. In general, maybe a section with guides to the community or BDSM in general - like having a list of useful resources for people who want to start in BDSM?
- Hey, on the readings bit. I started a little spanking community a while back. And for that I put together a bunch of readings. Now. I went overboard, because I liked the idea, but I'm willing to do something like that here. Pin a community resources post with readings and such. Give a look and let me know what you think.

  Yeah, that is a fuckton of resources. That's good to gave many, especially infographics. I would suggest, for BDSM, having a section for introduction to BDSM, a section on toys, a section on safety, etc. Each might have circa 3 or 4 resources. Infographics are really useful as a quick source of info.
  I'll say, there should be sections for beginners, a section on some toys, a section on kinks and the section on aftercare.

I like pictures and love stories but also a forum for questions and advice would be awesome.
