What's a low-stakes, achieveable goal on your bucket list?
Could be outstanding, could be something you've already completed.
I like to break my goals down into a sort of ladder with the eventual goal at the top, but smaller achievements on the way. So to that end my bucket list includes such gems as:
- Go out for a meal alone
- Buy a fancy ice lolly without feeling guilty about it
- Climb up the nearby hill without stopping for a break
- Reach out to for a catchup
- Finish reading the whole Discworld book series (I never did read the last one, iykyk)
andrewta @lemmy.world Take a trip to Washington DC and stay there for a week. Just take in the museums.

TheBananaKing @lemmy.world I would like to see snow.
12 1 ReplyTeaHands @lemmy.world OP
On one hand this makes me sad for you, because snow is excellent. But on the other that does mean you live somewhere nice and warm, and as I sit here rolled up in my electric blanket it doesn't sound so bad.
I hope you get to not only see snow, but experience the satisfying cronch of frolicking in an unspoiled patch :D

rufus @discuss.tchncs.de Go to the sauna and treat myself on a cold winter evening. But I have a bit of a cold, so I better wait a bit.
10 0 ReplyTeaHands @lemmy.world OP
Yeah I'm sick also, think that's why I've been looking at my list, as a way to live vicariously through Future Healthy Me. Plenty more cold winter evenings to come, anyway, there's no rush.
3 0 Replyrufus @discuss.tchncs.de I have a coupon that's valid 'til the end of the year ;-)

10% non-negotiable, right into a high interest savings account before anything else. if you can set it up to deposit automatically that's ideal.

I've watched lots of Star Trek including some episodes of Deep Space 9 but never had the chance to see it all from beginning to end.

captainlezbian @lemmy.world Read the shepherds crown. It’s cathartic and while I’m sad the series ended it was the perfect note to end on.
5 0 ReplyTeaHands @lemmy.world OP
Everyone says the same thing. I am going to do it, just rereading some of the older ones that I've not had chance to in years and then I think it'll naturally go that way.

1 0 ReplyRedacted @lemm.ee No, would just dilute the entire point of the bucket list.
2 2 Replyisyasad @lemmy.world
The entire point of a bucket list is to have high-stakes unachievable goals?
6 1 ReplyRedacted @lemm.ee Not unachievable, but they should be pretty high-stakes.
OP's examples are more of a to-do list.
