I'm not sure why you're downvoted. For the Eras tour it took an entourage of approximately 90 semi trucks just to move the concert from city to city.

nice that someone would share similar opinion. although i dont mind being downvoted, as long as someone would justify their opinion reasonably as to why they would think otherwise. i am open for debates really (when time allows ofc)..but just leaving a random downvote is not really convincing..

I have heard this, and I can imagine it is true, but have you seen any analysis? There must be a large crew traveling and lots of equipment - transportation is a big user of petroleum in general -- for entertainment. Though they say the entertainment is good.

exactly. but oil is heavily subsidized and costs money to extract and refine, and mass produced enough to be affordable, making concert tours cost nothing, but it causes a big damage otherwise. how about make half the number of tours ? that would be a good start. or make an onlyfan equivalent, for singers ? sound idea if u ask me

The stuff leading to the climate crisis ruins everything. The climate crisis itself is amazing and forces us to think about better solutions.
I really hope it leads to less cars, less pollution, more connection to nature and more human conditions everywhere.
I want a solution for the cause, which is fossil fuels, meat consumption (consumerism in general) and pollution. Even without the climate crisis we are experiencing now it would be great to have less of all of that.

Man, these last days we have been cooked alive in Rio. The thermal sense is unbearable. Good thing rain just arrived, but I can't even imagine how hot that concert should have been. To say the truth, I'm surprised no more people died of heat over there.
