81 0 Replycm0002 @lemmy.world Instantly recognized the pic lol I wonder if RL is still making new ones?
33 0 ReplyBroken_Monitor @lemmy.world He is. The guy has published an absolutely preposterous number of books and has at least one out this year. They also did a Fear Street netflix series somewhat recently, last year I think.

46 6 Replybaseless_discourse @mander.xyz Originally I thought it was talking about age. Then I realize there is an entire country that uses the wrong unit.
18 5 Replyvaultdweller013 @sh.itjust.works
Its not the wrong unit, we just forgot how to update it and its working well enough. Also bite me I dont want to deal with decimals to know the tempeture on a more accurate level.

namelivia @lemmy.world Ah! I had this goosebumps book! The story was completely unrelated with the cover image
24 0 ReplyOpenPassageways @lemmy.zip The cover is related to the story, but I believe this cover was also used for a three book anthology which included other stories in addition to "Say Cheese and Die". The main character acquires a camera that either predicts the future or causes bad things to happen... he takes this picture of his family at a BBQ and then die in a car accident or something.
6 0 ReplyCascio @lemmy.world I believe this is "Say Cheese and Die"

SlopppyEngineer @discuss.tchncs.de Next summer is going to be fun if El Nino pattern holds. It would mean that this year with heat domes, forest fires and floods was just the preview and next year is the main event.
23 0 Replyphotonic_sorcerer @lemmy.dbzer0.com
Just wait until El Niño is no more, forever. Then all hell will break loose.
5 0 ReplyThis is fine🔥🐶☕🔥 @lemmy.world
When every year is El Niño year, no year will be El Niño year.
